Why is it called a Fiat Fullback?
Inspired by the important American Football and South African Rugby position, the fullback is a crucial position of attack, defence and handling throughout a game. Alongside the half backs and hooker in rugby, the fullback makes up the ‘spine’ of the team. In American grid-iron football, the fullback makes up a strong column of the team.
